Former president Donald Trump held a rally in support of the Michigan GOP midterm ticket on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022.
Candidates touched on public education, foreign policy and Roe v. Wade throughout the night and their goals to replace Michigan's current Democratic leaders Jocelyn Benson, Dana Nessel and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
The Warren, Mich. rally was one of a series of similar events for GOP candidates in battle ground states across the country - but did Trump steal the show?
Re-election hints were sprinkled throughout his speech, “I ran twice, I won twice,” he said in one of many (false) pushes of a fraudulent 2020 election, “and we might just have to do it again.”
