On Friday, July 29, 2022, 51-year-old Dante Kittrell called police in the midst of a mental health crisis at a park near Alexis Coquillard Elementary School.
Three days later on Monday, Aug. 1, Black and interfaith leaders met at the park to mourn Kittrell's death.
